2016 Cancelled Summer School
This is the archive of the promotional information prepared for the cancelled 2016 Summer School
The First East Midlands U3As Summer School will be held in August 2016 at Nottingham Trent University, Brackenhurst Campus, Southwell, beginning with dinner on Tuesday evening16th August and running until lunchtime on Friday 19th August. The plan is to run courses on the topics listed below. The final selection will depend on registered student interest. Too few students will mean that a course will not run.

* Churches: their architecture and changing function
* Digital Scrapbooking: a way to share photos
* Encouraging Participative Learning
* Environmental studies
* Gardening: the ultimate downsize
* Lawrence Landscape and Literature
* Walking and Wildlife
Delegates will be asked to indicate their preference for the course they wish to attend. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis on receipt of a completed application form and deposit.
The cost per delegate for the Summer School, in en suite rooms, including dinner on the Tuesday evening is estimated at £225 pp. Any additional costs, eg visits, will be advised at the time of booking and paid for at Registration.

How to apply
Please download, print and return this Application Form with £75 deposit to reach the Treasurer by Friday 29 January 2016. Applications will be dealt with on a first come first served basis and the remaining cost must be paid by Tuesday 31 May 2016.
